About Us
Woodend District Netball Club is an incorporated, volunteer-run sporting organisation for young people, based in Woodend, Victoria. We have more than 150 members, including players, coaches, and other support volunteers. Our focus is building strong, confident young people in Woodend.
Our volunteers
We have many roles for parents, grandparents and friends of players to take on during both the summer and winter season.
In particular, the MRNA asks every club to run the operations at New Gisborne courts twice a year, time-keeping, running the BBQ and packing up. Over these two Saturdays we need all the help we can get, so please get involved!
All WDNC volunteers are required to register (for FREE) for off-the-court membership, and have a current Working With Children Check.

Our Partners
We work closely with Netball Victoria to run our competitions, register players and volunteers, and ensure players are insured for on-the-court injury. We also run programs developed by Netball Australia, including the NetSetGO program for 5 to 10 year olds. The Macedon Ranges Netball Association runs the winter season competition that we enter teams into each year.
