WOOLWORTHS NETSETGO PROGRAM 2026

Registrations are now OPEN for our 2026 Woolworths NetSetGo Program. This is Australia’s official netball starter program designed for all kids aged 5 to 10. It’s a place for our young players to learn the basics of netball, gain confidence, get active and make new friends in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.   • NET is for 5 to 6 year olds and teaches fundamental motor skills through activities and games.

  • SET is for 7 to 8 year olds and focuses on refining fundamental motor skills and introducing modied match play.

  • GO focuses on developing natural specific skills through modified match play.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Where: Buffalo Stadium Outdoor Netball Courts, Woodend

When: Thursdays during Term 4 (2026), commencing 8th October 2026.

Duration: 9 weeks (08/10/2026 - 03/12/2026)

Time: 4:30pm - 5:30pm

Cost:‍ ‍$120 (includes 2026 Netball Vic Membership and NetSetGo Pack).

Discount: If you already have a 2026 Netball Vic Membership, you only pay $47, and those who have already participated in a NetSetGo program in 2026 receive a further discount!

NetSetGo Pack:

Each child will receive a NetSetGo pack via post after registering through Netball Connect. The pack includes:

  • Suncorp Super Netball Team branded T-Shirt

  • Size 4 Netball

  • Netball Key Chain - Super Netball Team branded

Tip: Register early to ensure your pack arrives in time for the first session!

What to Wear:

  • Any comfortable sports attire or NetSetGo t-shirt

  • Running shoes

  • Sunscreen and sun hat (optional)

  • No jewellery (unless securely taped)

  • Nails clipped

What to Bring:

  • Netball (named, optional)

  • Drink bottle (named)

COACHES

We're excited to announce that Isla Woodhouse and Mila Benedict will be coaching the NetSetGo program. Both are experienced netballers with a strong passion for teaching and developing young players.

Message from Isla Woodhouse:

“Hi, my name is Isla and I did NetSetGo when I was 10, and I really liked it! Since then, I have played every year at Woodend District and Woodend Hawks. Last year, my team won the U15 B Grade Grand Final at Woodend District. I love netball because I get to work together with my teammates and friends. I hope to teach you the rules and skills of netball and show you what an amazing sport it is!”

Message from Mila Benedict:

“Hi, I’m Mila and I’ve played netball for a long time. I used to play over at Daylesford but two years ago I came to Woodend and won the U16B premiership. I love playing netball because I get to be with my friends, stay active and have fun! I can’t wait to get started this term with NetSetGo and I can’t wait to meet you all!”
