Registrations for our 2026 Winter Season Competition are NOW OPEN on Netball Connect (see further details below).

This competition is run through the Macedon Ranges Netball Association (MRNA) during Terms 2 & 3 (April - September, 2026).

Pre-season training, including team selection, will commence in mid Term 1 (Dates TBC).

There will be two weeks of grading games held at MRNA Netball Complex on Saturday 14th and 21st March, 2026 (excludes U9s).

This year, the first round of netball will commence on Saturday 28th March 2026 (end of Term 1).

There will be divisions in the following age groups (age is calculated as of 31 December of the playing year).

  • Players (female/male)

    Born between 01/01/2017 - 31/12/2018.

    Note: Participation in the NetSetGo program is highly recommended for all U9 players before registering for this competition.

  • Players (female/male)

    Born between 01/01/2015 - 31/12/2016.

    This is a graded competition with finals.

  • Players (female/male)

    Born between 01/01/2013 - 31/12/2014.

    This is a graded competition with finals.

  • Players (Female Only)

    Born between 01/01/2010 - 31/12/2012.

    This is a graded competition, with finals.

Fees

Fees for 2026 will be $260 per player. This fee includes the following:

  • Saturday games (Terms 2 and 3)

  • Netball Victoria membership ($73) which provides insurance and discounts to Melbourne Vixen home games

  • Pre-season training (mid Term 1 - Dates TBC)

  • Weekly training sessions (Terms 2 and 3)

  • MRNA registration fee ($92)

  • WDNC membership fee ($95)

Uniforms are not included, and will incur an additional cost. Uniforms for 2026 will be the same as our uniform in 2025. Please visit our uniform shop for current prices.

** Any player from our club who has been selected to play in a MRNA representative team will be given a club discount.

** If your child/ren are registering for the NetSetGo program in 2026, your fees for the 2026 Winter Season Competition will be reduced. This is because your NetSetGo registration already includes a 2026 Netball Victoria Membership.

Financial Support

WDNC is a registered Get Active Kids Program provider. Eligible families may received up to $200 off the registration fee per child in 2026. For more information, please visit the Get Active Victoria website.

Game Venue / Times

Games are played on Saturday mornings at MRNA Netball Complex (outdoor netball courts) in New Gisborne (Crn Hamilton & Barringo Rds).

  • U16 - 8:30am

  • U13 - 9:30am

  • U11 - 10:30am

  • U9 - 11:30am

Training Sessions

Weekly training sessions are held at Woodend Buffalo Stadium Outdoor Netball Courts.

Tuesdays

  • U13 (5pm - 6pm)

  • U16 (6pm - 7pm)

Thursdays

  • U9 (4pm - 5pm)

  • U11 (5.15pm - 6.15pm)

Pre-Season training (including team selection) will commence in mid Term 1 (date TBC).

* No training during school holidays or public holidays.

Note: Team selection is based on several factors, including experience, skill level, and maintaining balanced team numbers. As a result, we cannot guarantee that players will be placed on the same team as their close friends or in their previous teams.
